Garland Ovens
To meet one of the most common commercial kitchen needs, Garland manufactures several commercial ovens. Depending on your menu, you may want a classic convection oven, or you may need a more specialized deck oven intended for roasting or baking pizzas. Multiple options with ranges are available for combining baking and stovetop cooking into one workstation. While all Garland ovens are relatively versatile, some models are better suited to specific applications than others. Learning more about the ovens in Garland's catalog can help you understand how one might fit into your kitchen.
Garland Ranges
Garland Restaurant Ranges
Designed for busy commercial kitchens, Garland's Restaurant Range series emphasizes durability and ease of maintenance while providing the efficient service required of busy restaurants. With an efficient thermal management system, these models are designed for minimal downtime, enabling cooks to churn out frequent batches so customers don't have to wait for long periods. Choose between models with one or two oven chambers featuring range tops as wide as 60 inches, depending on the demands of your operation.
The Restaurant series also provides range top configuration options. Models with 4, 6, 8, or 10 burners are available, with one model featuring six burners and a raised griddle. Diners, burger joints, and similar operations make heavy use of a griddle when cooking up burgers, eggs, and more. For warming or finishing sandwiches or pasta dishes, an optional range-mount salamander can be installed on the unit's back guard.
Garland Master Series
Garland's Master Series is an upgrade from the Restaurant Range, with electric and natural gas models available. Although this series can be purchased with a storage base, an oven option is also available for each model. Useful for any menu, these ovens are available with a greater number of range top configurations than the previous series. Choose between models with as many as six open burners or various combinations of burners, griddles, and versatile hot tops.
Gas-powered models feature a piezo igniter and a 100-percent safety pilot for low-risk operation. Electric ovens are fitted with circuit breakers or fuses, and most models come with four-position, removable oven rack guides and one rack. To withstand the intense use that comes with installation in the busiest kitchens, Master Series ovens are made of durable stainless steel, and some feature casters that ease mobility and maneuvering as needed.
Garland Cuisine Series
The premium option of Garland's good, better, and best range top ovens, the Cuisine Series combines modern style with utility and efficiency. This line includes multiple configuration options, everything from traditional burners to griddles to hot tops. Additionally, when purchasing a model from the Cuisine Series, you can choose between a standard or convection oven. A convection oven typically produces a more even cook in a shorter amount of time using less energy.
Regardless of the oven style you choose, your Cuisine model comes with a one-piece oven door featuring a handle designed to stay cool even when the interior is hot. Each oven comes standard with a fully insulated porcelain interior, but a stainless steel option is available. Standard ovens come with a chrome-plated oven rack, while convection ovens come with three racks. With the most options and premium construction, the Cuisine Series is perfect for high-end establishments or operators with the funds to spare on a long-term investment for their kitchens.
Garland Ovens Without a Range Top
Garland Convection Ovens
Garland's line of convection ovens includes gas and electric models categorized under two series: the Master Series and Summit Series. For a more straightforward purchasing and operating experience, the Summit Series includes an option for a full-size gas or electric model, both of which feature a simple, solid-state control with an electromechanical timer. These models are constructed of durable stainless steel with a double pane thermal window, and the interior is lighted for visibility and enameled with porcelain.
The Master Series is a step up – great for operators looking for a model with more precise cooking or in-depth controls. Gas and electric models are both available, and you have the choice between simple solid-state controls or easyTouch® digital controls. The Master Series features the same stainless steel construction, double pane thermal window, and porcelain-enameled interior as the Summit Series, but these higher-end models include extra features like an advanced air baffling system and extra-large blower wheel to maximize airflow and achieve precise and consistent results.
Garland Deck Ovens
For establishments specializing in pizzas, pies, or bread, Garland's deck ovens may be more useful. These ovens, available in gas or electric models, feature compartments designed for roasting pans, baking pans, or pizzas. The GPD Series is a product line especially optimized for pizza making. Constructed as a traditional hearth-style deck oven, these units come in 48- or 60-inch models with fully accessible hearths for easy loading and unloading; a cool-touch handle allows safe handling even when the oven is hot.
Other deck ovens from Garland feature hearths specialized for even cooking, which are perfect for roasting large pans of meat or vegetables or for baking batches of artisanal bread. Electric deck models are available with either 8- or 12-inch ovens; gas models are either 7 or 12 inches. Some models include the option for internal steam injectors – sold separately as an accessory – for baking hard-crusted breads. Like Garland's convection ovens, deck ovens come standard with a stainless steel finish.
