What is Cambro's FreshPro Series?
An innovative step up from its tried-and-true food storage container, Cambro now offers the CamSquares® FreshPro series. These plastic storage containers are designed to keep prepared meal components and fresh ingredients safe and appetizing for longer periods. They come in a variety of sizes to suit the storage of everything from fresh herbs to sugar and come in a variety of colors that enable you create a color-coded system to keep your food efficiently organized.
CamSquares FreshPro Clear Food Storage Containers
Transparent plastic FreshPro containers are available in capacities from 2 to 22 quarts, and, like other Camware® products, these containers are made of polycarbonate plastic that's durable enough to stands up to wear and tear that comes with busy kitchens. They're designed to resist stains, acid, and odors to prevent cross contamination or flavor transfer. Transparent CamSquares are also dishwasher safe and able to withstand temperatures between -40 and 210 degrees Fahrenheit.
For easy, efficient use, CamSquares feature molded-in handles and rounded corners that enable pouring from all four sides. Color-coded graduation marks are also printed on the sides of the containers to make measurements simple. You'll be able to easily see how much product is stored in each container or accurately measure ingredients for soups or salads.
The FreshPro series makes food storage simpler – and safer. The containers stack easily to save space in storage areas, while the clear sides and graduation marks allow your staff to quickly check inventory without opening containers. Translucent CamSquares FreshPro Containers
The FreshPro series includes options for smaller CamSquares, which are ideal for storing spices, fresh herbs, condiments, and salad dressings. Made of translucent polypropylene, these containers are available with 1/2-quart or 1-quart capacities and are designed to be small enough to carry with one hand; they also neatly stack for compact storage. Unlike larger CamSquares, these don't include graduation marks, but the translucent sides still allow for quick inventory without having to remove the lids.
Safe for the dishwasher, these containers are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, and they're also stain, acid, and odor resistant to prevent damage and flavor transfers even throughout use with acidic dressings and condiments.
FreshPro Easy Seal Covers
Designed to tightly fit onto Cambro FreshPro containers, Easy Seal Covers help prevent cross contamination and keep food fresher for longer. While these lids are easy to put on and take off, they also seal tightly enough to prevent spills. They're suitable for use in temperatures between -40 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Like the CamSquares, these covers are dishwasher safe, and they include a hanging hole for sanitary drying and storage.
Easy Seal Covers come in blue, red, or green to match the graduation marks printed on CamSquares, making it quick and easy to match lids with their proper containers. For the 1/2-quart and 1-quart FreshPro containers, a translucent white Easy Seal Cover is available. The white Easy Seal Cover is designed to fit both the 1/2-quart and 1-quart containers.
CamSquares FreshPro Drain Shelves
FreshPro drain shelves fit into the bottom of any 2-22-quart FreshPro container. The grate design holds food while allowing juices to drain into the bottom of the CamSquare, preventing items like prepared fruit and vegetables from sitting in their own liquids and taking on an undesirable texture. Suitable for use in environments between -40 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit, drain shelves can be used in the freezer or for hot foods. Combined with the FreshPro lids and containers, these drain shelves help to further extend the shelf life of fresh ingredients and set Cambro's FreshPro line apart from other food storage containers on the market.
To coordinate with the color-coding system of other FreshPro products, drain shelves are available in green, blue, and red. For easy cleaning, FreshPro drain shelves are commercial dishwasher safe and feature a peg hole for sanitary storage and drying.
Other Features and Personalization
Cambro FreshPro containers sized 2 to 22 quarts come standard with graduation marks in quarts and liters, but for further customization, you can have them personalized with recipe components, portion control indicators, or inventory management information printed right on the containers.
