Butcher Block Work Tables

A butcher block work table gives you the benefit of a strong, steel base with the aesthetic appeal of hardwood. Easier on knives than plastic, a wooden cutting board will last for years and will be fairly easy to clean and sanitize, often with just baking soda or vinegar. The tops will range in thickness and typically be made of maple, cherry, or walnut. They may have additional shelves or baskets, and many come on casters, making them easy to move for cleaning.
