ADA-Compliant Sinks for Public Facilities

By adding an ADA sink to your commercial lavatory or kitchen, every customer and employee can access the sink to wash their hands in your establishment.

To meet ADA standards, ADA-compliant sinks usually require an open space underneath the bowls that’s tall enough to accommodate wheelchair users. Some of these sinks have panels below the sink to cover the drain while others leave the drain exposed. Exposed drain plumbing on ADA bathroom sinks are positioned far enough back to prevent impeding wheelchair users.

Typically, ADA-compliant sinks feature several washing stations to maximize your business's handwashing capabilities. Sinks are available with one to six washing stations to ensure you have enough space for everyone to wash their hands. Some ADA kitchen sinks also have splash guards and soap dispensers to ensure each guest and staff member can thoroughly wash their hands.
