ADA faucets are essential for any commercial office, restaurant, shopping mall, or community center with a kitchen or public restroom. These ADA-compliant faucets help ensure facilities meet ADA guidelines while increasing convenience and accessibility for all patrons.

ADA Faucets for Restaurants & Commercial Operations

In order to meet accessibility standards in by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), compliant faucets must be operable with one hand and easy to activate. ADA-compliant faucets cannot be hard to turn or grasp, or they could be difficult for someone with a disability to operate.

Faucets are available with a lever, wrist blade, or touch-free sensor. ADA faucets with levers require the handle to be lifted to release water flow while ones with sensors enable hands-free operation. ADA kitchen faucets with wrist blades allow the user to turn the water on and off without having to grasp the handles.

Commercial businesses typically have a different style of faucets in their bathrooms than they have in their kitchens. ADA bathroom faucets are available in deck- or splash-mounted models while kitchen faucets can be purchased individually or pre-attached to a sink. Some ADA faucets feature a gooseneck design and can be mounted to a sink with several washing stations.
