Crown Steam SX-5 Description
Ensuring food in the Crown Steam SX-5 convection steamer doesn't burn, it has a 60-minute timer that counts down during cooking. If an employee isn't around to monitor the timer, an audible alarm will alert those nearby to check the food. To inform users the unit is working, a light indicates when it's on and when it's cooking, and a power switch has three functions—on, off, and delime.
The Crown Steam SX-5 commercial steamer fills and drains water automatically through split connections, and the water has a filter to make sure the water is clean. To cook a variety of foods at once, this unit holds five 12-inch by 20-inch by 21/2-inch food pans, and a seal around the door prevents heat from escaping while in use. Providing durability, this steamer is made of heavy-duty stainless steel.
