Southbend SCX-10S-6-6 Description

The Southbend SCX-10S-6-6 10-pan and two-kettle convection steamer comes with two types of equipment that can be used for steaming product. The two kettles have 6-gallon capacities and can be used to prepare sauces, stews, and soups. An integral faucet with a swing nozzle can fill the kettles with water.

The steamer provides two compartments and can accommodate (10) 12-inch by 20-inch food pans. The stainless steel construction of the steamer is durable and efficient to clean. The doors are secured by a positive lock and seal mechanism to prevent tampering. Independent controls are housed in stainless steel.

The base of the Southbend SCX-10S-6-6 convection steamer and kettles is 60 inches wide. It has a stainless steel construction with four legs equipped with adjustable bullet feet on the front and adjustable flanged feet on the rear to stabilize the unit. The steam coil boiler is housed inside the base and provides the heat and steam to the steamer and kettles. The boiler operates between 9 and 11 PSI and the water line is split. The boiler's controls allow the user to monitor and adjust water and pressure levels.
