Southbend EDA-2S Description
The Southbend EDA-2S Do-All steamer is a versatile electric unit designed for high-volume steaming applications. Featuring two compartments, this steamer offers a pressure/pressureless operation in the top compartment for flexible cooking. The lower compartment operates exclusively as a pressure cooker at a maximum of 6 PSI. Built with a durable stainless steel interior and exterior, this steamer is mounted on a 36-inch cabinet base, providing additional support and storage space.
Equipped with manual controls, the Southbend EDA-2S Do-All steamer includes a 60-minute timer with both visual and audible alerts. Its automatic shut-down system ensures safety by exhausting incoming steam, draining condensate, and signaling completion until manually turned off. The included water filtration system helps maintain efficiency, while the CSD-1 boiler controls enhance operational safety. Designed for ease of installation, the unit stands on 6-inch stainless steel legs with adjustable bullet feet in the front and flanged feet in the rear for stability.
