Crown Steam DC-2 Description
The Crown Steam DC-2 direct steam pressure-type steamer is designed with two compartments for high-efficiency cooking in commercial kitchens. Built with a durable stainless steel interior and exterior, this unit features a 36-inch cabinet base for added stability and storage. Each compartment operates at a maximum pressure of 6 psi and includes universal pan supports. The doors are constructed with a removable aluminum inner liner, a full perimeter gasket seal, and a welded stainless steel outer shell. With a wheel-and-screw closing mechanism, the doors latch upon closing and open 180 degrees when released.
For user convenience, the Crown Steam DC-2 steamer is equipped with independent automatic timer controls that provide visible and audible alerts. At the end of the cooking cycle, the controls automatically shut off, drain condensate, and sound a continuous audible signal until manually turned off. The unit's control housing features a removable panel for easy access, while the cabinet base is constructed with a full-perimeter angle frame. Thermostatically controlled cold water condenses exhausted steam before it is released into the drain. With an 8- to 16-pan capacity, this steamer accommodates various cooking needs. It stands on 6-inch stainless steel legs, with adjustable bullet feet in the front and flanged feet in the rear for secure floor mounting.
