MoTak MUF-48-X Description
The MoTak MUF-48 undercounter freezer includes two self-closing doors with a 90-degree stay-open feature that is helpful for busy kitchen workers. This unit has a durable stainless steel exterior and an aluminum interior and back. Each section includes a heavy-duty wire shelf for storage.
Temperatures in the MoTak MUF-48 undercounter freezer are maintained in a range from -8 to 0 degree Fahrenheit using R290 refrigerant and monitored by a solid-state thermostat with a digital display. The condenser is easy to access for cleaning and maintenance.

item gathers condensate around the doors
Item is not well insulated, stainless steel gets cold and collects condensation around the doors. The tech support claims its normal. I have refrigerator and another freezer in the same room and those do not collect any condensate, so i am not sure how it can be normal.
Great deal, works great, silent
I wanted to buy one of the high end brands like Traulsen, but I couldn't afford to wait weeks or even months due to supply chain issues at the time, so I decided to take a chance on Motak. I am actually really happy with this freezer in my tiny 200 sq ft kitchen, especially because it's pretty silent, which allows me to work in admin stuff when it's slow. I would definitely buy this product again!
This the first time we have used a Motak case but it WORKS!
This is used to store frozen items and it is working out great! We replaced a unit that had experienced numerous breakdowns , we had more money in the repairs than this unit cost! Great deal!
noisy machine
it's a little noisy and turns on very frequently. temp fluctuates between 4F and -4F although the setypoint is -7F?
