Centaur MAC60 Description
The Centaur MAC60 planetary mixer comes with a durable, stainless steel mixing bowl with a 60-quart capacity. This mixing bowl includes a wire bowl guard, which is operated with a handle. To protect operators, the bowl guard must interlock with the bowl lift lever; if the interlock fails, the mixer shuts down. A 15-minute timer and side-mounted controls provide convenient operation and ensure accurate mixing.
This floor model mixer is equipped with a powerful 3-HP motor and high-performance transmission that provide three fixed speeds for the agitators and the attachments. Agitator speeds are 72, 129, and 255 RPM, while the attachment speeds are 60, 108, and 197 RPM. Attachments include an aluminum flat beater, spiral dough hook, and stainless steel wire whip, and the unit can use other attachments compatible with a No. 12 hub. This Centaur MAC60 commercial mixer’s cast iron body is finished with enamel paint for corrosion protection and nonslip rubber feet for safe, stationary operation.
