Since the Koolaire KYP0300A-161/K400 half-cube ice maker with bin has a stay-open door, users can comfortably scoop ice without it falling down. This door is insulated to maintain cold temperatures and prevent condensation. Featuring an exterior that resembles stainless steel, this bin can hold 365 pounds of ice and resists rust and fingerprints. Its black side panels match the ice machine, and it includes an 82-ounce scoop and a holder to keep ice sanitary. Four legs elevate the unit and can be adjusted for uneven floors.
If conditions are ideal, the Koolaire KYP0300A-161/K400 ice machine with bin can produce 366 pounds of half-cube ice daily, a type that measures 0.375 inch by 1.125 inches by 0.875 inch and cools drinks more quickly than full-cube ice. With its air-cooled condensing unit's fans, this ice machine can blow cold air over the evaporator so that the water will freeze and create ice.
