Wood Stone PLANCHA Description
For countertop use, the Wood Stone WS-PL-MTL-40-35-4-CT electric plancha is 40 inches wide by 24 inches deep. Its cooking surface, which is made of smooth steel for effective cooking, is 24 inches wide by 24 inches deep. Heating to temperatures as high as 700 degrees Fahrenheit, it doubles as an open burner. It has four thermostatically controlled zones to cook multiple foods simultaneously. Releasing less heat than a gas-fired plancha, it keeps the kitchen environment cool throughout use.
The Wood Stone WS-PL-MTL-40-35-4-CT commercial plancha features a stainless steel backsplash that keeps oil from splashing onto nearby surfaces, streamlining cleanup. Oil is directed into the removable drip tray, which can be emptied and cleaned for future use. Supported by four legs, its lifted design reduces heat conducted from the bottom of the unit to the surface on which it sits.
