Made of stainless steel, the cavity is seam welded and has large, rounded edges that can be cleaned quickly. Its bottom-hinged door grants users full access to the interior for brisk product loading and retrieval. Overall, the unit measures 14 inches wide by 23.4 inches deep by 25.4 inches high, facilitating use on a 23.6-inch worktop.

For uniform heating results, the Merrychef eikon E2S TREND HIGH-POWER BLK microwave impingement and convection oven uses Accelerated Cooking Technology®, which combines tuned impingement, microwave, and convection heating. As a ventless unit, it uses a convection fan that moves air to the catalyst converter and impinger plate. The microwave power can be adjusted between 5 and 100 percent in 1-percent increments, and convection heat settings range between 212 and 527 degrees Fahrenheit. For easy adjustment, the easyTouch® touchscreen controls are equipped with icons that let users change temperatures, save multi-stage cooking profiles, and transfer data via a USB memory stick.
