The Hobart HSL180-1 spiral mixer kneads large batches of bread, pizza, and bagel dough with a fixed 150-quart bowl, 180-pound dough capacity, and 100-pound flour capacity. Its double-pulley belt-driven motor powers the spiral arm through two speeds, while the bowl turns at 15 RPM to keep dough moving through the mixing pattern.
The Hobart HSL180-1 spiral mixer includes a reversible bowl drive and jog control, so staff can adjust bowl position without running the spiral arm. Dual 20-minute electronic timers move the mixer automatically from low to high speed during timed batches, helping operators manage dough development through a set mixing sequence. Front and rear casters help with movement for cleaning, while adjustable stabilizing feet keep the mixer steady during operation.
