Hobart FP100-1A Description
The Hobart FP100-1A angled food processor measures 8 1⁄5 inches wide by 16 11⁄16 inches deep by 19 1⁄2 inches tall. This, in conjunction with its rubber feet and 6-foot cord, is ideal for placement on countertops and in compact kitchens. Its body is crafted of aluminum, ensuring the unit is simple to clean and protecting it against minor abrasions and rust. Its body rests at a 50-degree angle pointed towards the operator, accommodating carrots and cucumbers in its chamber for fast chopping results, while its hopper can store 11 pounds of sliced product at a time. For easy replacement of slicing discs or retrieval of processed produce, its lid is hinged.
To handle heavy workloads, the Hobart FP100-1A continuous feed food processor is equipped with a 1⁄3 HP motor run on a planetary gear transmission, ensuring the blades have enough torque to cut through durable potatoes and other produce. If the motor is over exerted, the unit comes with an overload protection module to prevent long term damage. Its cutting surfaces are stainless steel to ensure quick cleaning, and the unit ships with three slicing plates to offer variety in prep work. Operators can power the unit on and off with its green and red buttons, respectively, and to keep workers safe, it has three separate safety interlock systems.
