Globe SP05 Description
The Globe SP5 planetary mixer has a 5-quart, stainless steel bowl with a polycarbonate splash cover. A chute is integrated into the cover, so ingredients can be added while the unit is operating. A bowl lift simplifies removing the product from the mixer, and the agitator can be used at 10 speeds. Operating at two speeds, the industry-standard number 10 attachment hub includes a flat bearer, wire whip, spiral dough hook, and spatula. Made of cast aluminum, the body on this Globe SP5 countertop mixer is heavy duty to support high-volume use.

My favourite mixer.
I have used it for bread, pastry, cookies, cakes, and assorted dessert it mixes amazing and has kept me 100% content. Easy to use efficient at its job and great turn out for all the products I've made.
Great Mixer!
I wanted a reliable mixer for home use and didn't want to buy a rebranded [*]made one hiding behind an american name; I've read about so many problems with quality. I did some research and found this one made by Globe in Dayton Ohio. I've had it for a month now and put it through it paces, doing single and double batches of bread, pasta and pizza dough. The machine handles it very well without a huge strain; it does seem very heavy duty for home use and expect years of good service from it. The accessory port does take standard attachments, Although Globe doesn't sell attachments specifically for this model, I use a pasta roller/cutter made by another popular mixer manufacturer; The instructions do not mention this is possible.
