The vertical True TOAM-36-HC~NSL01 open-air cooler's exterior is made of white powder-coated steel that is durable and corrosion resistant. The interior is made of white aluminum and features stainless steel deck pans and floor. The unit has five levels for storing and merchandising product with four shelves. Each of the white powder-coated cantilever shelves is adjustable to suit the height of the products being marketed. The interior is lit with LED light strips on the top of the unit and on the underside of each shelf. A low glass front creates a barrier to falling product without reducing visibility and facilitates easy access to products. The unit also has leg levelers to counteract any unevenness in the floor.

The True TOAM-36-HC~NSL01 cooler merchandiser runs on a self-contained refrigeration system that uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant which is environmentally friendly and saves energy. The bottom-mounted condensing unit is positioned for easy maintenance access and features a reversing fan motor. When reversed during defrost off cycles, the fan motor removes dust and dirt from the coils and helps keep the cooler sanitary between cleanings. The unit is insulated with high-density polyurethane and features a night cover to protect the products when the cooler is not in use. Overall, the cooler measures 36 inches wide, 29 1⁄8 inches deep, and 78 1⁄2 inches tall.
