Outfitted with a black powder-coated steel exterior, the True Refrigeration THAC-48-HC-LD horizontal air curtain merchandiser resists chipping and corrosion in high-volume retail settings. Inside, the cabinet features a clear aluminum liner and a stainless steel floor, with three tiered display levels designed into the floor surface itself. LED lighting illuminates the display area from multiple angles, and deck pans are included to enhance the layout. Leg levelers provide a balanced setup on uneven surfaces, while the unit’s compact footprint makes it ideal for front-of-store placement.
The True Refrigeration THAC-48-HC-LD open-air cooler holds internal temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees Fahrenheit and uses a self-contained refrigeration system powered by R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. A high-density polyurethane insulation layer is foamed in place throughout the cabinet to reduce thermal loss. The unit features an air curtain at the top to direct airflow over products, supported by a self-lubricated evaporator fan motor and front-access condensing unit. For serviceability, the condensing system slides out from the front and includes an oversized evaporator coil to manage cooling load efficiently.
