With a torsion type closure, the self-closing door creates a positive seal to keep stored items shielded from blasts of warm air when the door is opened.

Structured with foamed-in-place high density polyurethane, the True GDM-05-HC~FGD01 countertop display merchandiser refrigerator is well insulated to preserve cool internal temperatures and maintain product freshness. Improving visibility and streamlining product selection, its interior is lit with LEDs, and the exterior sign panel is illuminated to enhance readability. The refrigeration system is self-contained, with a capillary tube system that's factory balanced. Giving users a secure grip when opening and closing the door, it has a 12-inch-long extruded handle.

Increasing the unit's lifespan, the fan motor operates in reverse for 20 seconds upon start up to ensure the condensing coil remains clean.
