Equipex GED80 Description
Great for food trucks and concession stands, the Equipex GED80 double waffle maker turns ordinary waffles into waffles on a stick. Its plates have cutouts for the sticks and create long waffle shapes that won’t fall off. To help the waffles keep their shape, a thick rim encircles the grid pattern, and the cast iron plates can be seasoned, which means the waffles will come off with ease.
To facilitate cleaning, this Equipex GED80 waffle baker has a stainless steel drip tray that wraps around the unit. This tray helps keep batter off the counter and base, though if the batter does fall onto the base, the stainless steel exterior can be wiped clean. Simplifying operation, this unit features separate controls on each side of the base. With the temperature knob, users can select a temperature of 570 degrees Fahrenheit or lower, and once reached, the thermostatic element turns on and off automatically to maintain that temperature level.
