Because it's cordless, cooled with dry ice, and heated with canned fuel, the Cres Cor HC2-UA-11 Fire-N-Ice Cube™ holding cabinet can be used outdoors while ensuring prepared dishes are held at appropriate serving temperatures. Dry ice provides up to 12 hours of cold or freezing temperatures, while cannel fuel provides at least 2 hours of heat. If longer heated holding periods are required, canned fuel can be replaced quickly. Fiberglass insulation built into the sides, door, back, top, and side walls retains original temperatures in various outdoor settings. Its digital solar-powered thermometer located on the door provides an accurate temperature readout so operators can manage internal cabinet temperatures. To ensure the unit's flame is burning properly, a sight glass is built into the cabinet.

To simplify transport outdoors, the Cres Cor HC2-UA-11 insulated holding cabinet is mounted on four 8-inch heavy-duty wheels. Its two front wheels include brakes for stabilization, while its two fixed rear wheels ensure the unit can support as much as 1,240 pounds during transport. Its powder-coated blue aluminum exterior withstands wear and impact, and a unique Fire-N-Ice vinyl graphic comes standard on its sides to grab customer attention. The cabinet's stainless steel interior is simple to wipe clean, owing to its coved corners. In total, its 11 sets of transport angles can support (11) 18-inch by 26-inch pans or (22) 12-inch by 20-inch pans.
