Because the Cres Cor HC1-UA-11 Hotcube¹™ insulated hot cabinet is powered by LP gas and doesn't need to be plugged in, it can hold prepared dishes at safe serving temperatures outdoors. Its powerful heating system generates temperatures as high as 200 degrees Fahrenheit by using a 1-pound propane tank, which can last as long as 8 hours. This system also is cleared for use with a 20-pound tank if meals need to be held for longer periods. Operators can ignite the propane flame quickly via the piezo ignition system, and a sight glass provides a clear view of the flame. Its thermostat enables users to adjust temperatures from 140 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit to accommodate various holding requirements. To preserve heat outdoors, its door, back, top, and side walls are insulated with 1¹⁄₂-inch fiberglass.

Despite being a ³⁄₄-height unit, this Cres Cor HC1-UA-11 outdoor mobile heated cabinet is simple to transport from the kitchen to outdoor settings because it's furnished with two steering handles and four 8-inch pneumatic wheels. These all-terrain wheels include two fixed rear wheels for mobility when the unit is loaded to its 1,240-pound capacity, and its two front wheels have stabilizing brakes. Its powder-coated red exterior adds a unique splash of color and lasting rigidity, while its rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel interior features coved corners that are simple to wipe clean. Inside the cabinet, 11 sets of locking transport angles accommodate variously sized pans and can be adjusted on 1¹⁄₂-inch centers when needed.
