To help distribute cold air evenly around shelf items, the Everest Refrigeration EOMV-48-W-28-T open-air merchandiser has a perforated back interior wall and electronically commutated fan motors that expedite cooling while maximizing energy use. This unit can provide an eco-friendly alternative to other units because it relies on R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant to achieve cool conditions. The factory preset temperature is 35 degrees Fahrenheit, while the average product temperature is 40 degrees or less. This merchandiser is designed for installation in an air-conditioned space where the temperature does not exceed 80 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity does not exceed 55 percent.

To help retain cool conditions, the Everest Refrigeration EOMV-48-W-28-T open-air cooler is fitted with 2-inch-thick polyurethane insulation between its metal paneling, and to permit side-by-side installation ideal for grocery stores or academic cafeterias, this unit has a front air intake and rear air discharge configuration. The stainless steel interior is fitted with four shelves, each with LED bar lighting installed underneath them to properly display items and expedite item selection. The lights have an on/off switch to save energy when not in use, and the cabinet comes with a retractable night curtain for enhanced security and energy efficiency.
