Cadco LKR-220 Description
The Cadco LKR-220 electric hot plate's compact design enables it to be used on counters while taking up minimal space. A cast iron plate evenly distributes heat across the surface. For precise boiling or simmering, the thermostat has an adjustable heat control. A signal light notifies users the heat is on, and the power is controlled by an on/off switch. The Cadco LKR-220 hot plate's exterior is made of heavy duty stainless steel to simplify cleanup and provide strength.

This cadco burner is garbage
I bought this Cadco burner about 2.5 years ago. We were impressed how can adjust any temperature level. After 1 year about another one and my sister also for herself. After that my sister bought 2 of them. About 1 .5 years didn't heat enough and soon stopped to work . When I looked inside I was surprised to see how is this "professional" device made so poor from cheapest material. I give up trying to repair that garbage. Soon another one shows same symptoms and stopped to work, I found out the reason for so good temperature adjusting is ROBERTSHAW INFINITE REGULATOR which Cadco used in this model, Without that regulator, this Cadco's garbage doesn't worth $20.
A really great product and yes I would purchase again
The stove in the house has a glass top with no home canning capability. I needed a hot plate that would work with a large pressure cooker for canning. The Cadco LKR-220 commercial hot plate works perfectly for the heat source. The solid heating plate is the perfect size for the pressure cooker and the variable heat control makes it very easy to get the exact heat required.

This burner was installed in our kitchen to boil shrimp and has performed well
I would absolutely buy this product again
I used this hotplate as the primary cooking element for making candy while my own "candy kitchen" was being renovated. It did as well as, if not better, than the old stove top unit in my kitchen!
