Cadco CSR-3T Description
The Cadco CSR-3T electric hotplate can be used to make sauces, boil water for pasta, or sauté vegetables. Its tubular heating element is 8 inches diameter to accommodate a variety of pan and pot sizes, and an indicator light turns on when the burner is on. An on/off switch operates the Cadco CSR-3T electric hotplate, which has a Robertshaw thermostat controlled by infinite heat controls.

Good product. I would buy again.
We bought this for our very small kitchen that doesn't have room for a full size oven/cooktop. We bought it in 2021 and it's now 2025 and it is still working. I only have 2 isssues with it: 1) you can't turn the temperature low enough to do a low simmer, the liquid bubbles like a boil not a simmer. 2) The bracket that holds the burner in place became disconnected from the burner so now when we clean the drip tray it's a hassle getting the burner back together afterwards. But overall I am very happy with it. It does bring things to a boil quickly and has lasted much longer than the other two cheap burners we had before.

Good product to a point but it doesn't hold up
The infinite temperature control doesn't last as intended, so it's hard to tell exactly where the heat level is. No wonder they don't have a life-time warrantee. It should be built for longer service at this price.
Good Product
I really like this unit. It is sturdy and works well. I intend to use it on our lanai while our kitchen remodel is taking place. I purchased it for pressure canning and I hope it works for that too.

THE Best Hot Plate on the Market
This hot plate arrived well packaged and ready for use. It is perfect for my tiny home. While it does take up more counter space than other hot plates, the temperature control works wonderfully and it brings water to a full boil rapidly and cooks food perfectly. I am very pleased with my purchase and would highly suggest this brand to others. While more expensive than other brands, the plate stays hot and doesn't keep shutting off due to the thermostat control that many more inexpensive store brands have. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and make the purchase. It's well worth it!
High quality product.
We bought this to enable us to continue making French omelettes, which require constant pan shaking, and not carve up the top of our new glass top stove. This is a well-made, heavy-duty, burner that could stand up to constant use in a restaurant kitchen as well. We couldn't be happier with it and are once again able to enjoy our omelettes.
Really cooks!
This plate heats up water twice as fast as my old garbage imusa plate. The imusa plate nearly caught in fire! This one should last me my lifetime. Very well built
Love this product!
My husband and I used it to can green beans. It was absolutely great! The eye heated quickly and the housing did not heat up. It also didn't heat up the granite! It held that canner with 7 quarts of green beans and two extra quarts of water without a problem! We would definitely buy it again!!!
A solid American made product.
Where I live, I have no kitchen. I've created a small place to prepare my food. This hotplate is a perfect complement to my Breville oven and microwave. Works very nicely for my cooking needs. Heavy duty and American made! I highly recommend!

Product is reliably a must for a high quality made electric stove, I used this as my secondary stove for cooking. Only downside is the limited warranty....

Received this today
Received this today. Opened up the box and plugged it in on high for it's initial burn off for first time use. It heated up fast and then I tested it with the control for lower temperatures and played with the settings, everything worked as it should. I'm very happy with this product
