The Vitamix 891 drive socket kit comes with an Allen wrench and instructions for installation. This drive socket is a replacement part compatible with most Vitamix blenders. It couples the motor with the blade assembly and protects the motor from overheating and damage when the blades get stuck.

Perfect fit
Great fit and quality, easy instructions.
Doesn't fit the VIta Prep
The screw doesn't match the hole so we could not screw it in. We just placed it in and so far it's holding- does not seem ideal.
