The Vitamix 36019 Quiet One® blender is designed with vibration-dampening technology to operate quietly, so it can be used in front-of-house applications as staff members prepare made-to-order drinks. Its sound-dampening enclosure is secured by magnets and can be disassembled without tools to facilitate cleaning. These features reduce noise produced by the blender to a level comparable to that of a nearby conversation.
Six programmable buttons with 34 optimized cycles make it simple for users to prepare the same drinks multiple times. The Advance® jar included with this Vitamix 36019 blender is specifically designed to create smooth frozen beverages. The 48-ounce container is made from high-impact plastic and stacks for compact storage. The no-drip design simplifies cleanup and limits product waste.

They don't make em like they used to...
"I own 10 of these... I replaced the older model with this one in both of my smoothie places. We put a real beating on these things, and all I can say is that the older model was more durable. I've had issues with 7 of the 10 I bought and they're all still under warranty (you pay $85+ shipping for each repair from year 1 to year 3 of the warranty), and that's just the base units. I've also replaced almost all the pitchers and blade assemblies as they're lighter duty than their predecessors. The bottoms crack and handles break off more often than they should. They do, however, produce a great smoothie when they're working properly. If you're purchasing for lighter duty these would be a great solution, but be wary if you need workhorse blenders. If I could trade these in for the 2010 model I'd do it in a heartbeat."
