KitchenAid KSMPRA Description
Make homemade noodles from scratch with the KitchenAid KSMPRA pasta sheet roller and cutter set, a kit that includes three all-metal pieces: one roller and two cutters. The pasta roller rolls freshly-prepared dough into sheets that can then be fed into the cutters or formed by hand into tortellini or ravioli. The roller has eight settings, capable of forming very thick noodles down to ultra-thin angel-hair pasta.
The KitchenAid pasta kit's spaghetti cutter cuts pasta sheets into round noodles. Fed medium-thickness pasta, the spaghetti cutter produces round spaghetti noodles. Thinner pasta sheets yield finer linguine noodles. The KitchenAid KPRA's Fettuccini cutter cuts pasta into thin strips to create fettuccini and wide egg noodles.
Cleaning each piece of the KitchenAid KPRA pasta roller and cutter set is as simple as allowing any residual dough to dry and brushing it off with the included cleaning brush. None of the pieces in this set should ever be immersed in water or put in the dishwasher. Periodically lubricating each piece's gears with a food-grade mineral oil will keep them in top shape.
