Mill fails on first use...
I am quite disappointed in this product. On my first use of the mill I wanted to make flour from roasted corn. After first doing a rough grind I then set the mill at its finest setting (to make flour use the finest setting. Logical, right?). After a long effort of pushing the crushed grain into the worm feeder I finally got the product I was looking for. But when I opened the mill up to clean the interior I found the the outer 1/3 of the ridges (teeth) of the mill had been ground down rendering the mill ineffective. My advice to others is never set the mill on its finest setting. Back it off two clicks and see if you get the fineness of product you are looking for. As for me, I now have a useless mill.

Great Attachment For Milling Grain
Very good for doing what it promises. Will only grind about 10 cups of grains before the kitchenaid has to be turned off and rested, so not for large kitchens or large amounts of grains to be grinded. But for home kitchens to make fresh breads with freshly ground grains, it is a wonderful, quality made product.
Perfect Description
I use my grinder several times a week for grinding grains for breads and cereals. I love the ease in which I can attach it to my KitchenAid Mixer and then quickly remove it for an easy clean-up.
