Part of the Steelheart series, the Hoshizaki SR72B-12 sandwich top prep refrigerator features a stainless steel interior and exterior front, sides, and covers, along with it’s large build that provides ample storage space. Located at the rear, The rear-located refrigeration system holds temperatures between 32 and 52 degrees Fahrenheit and includes an enamel-coated evaporator to eliminate hot gas condensate to preserve functionality, capillary tubing to disperse eco-friendly R290 refrigerant, and an air distribution network that forces hot air out.

The Hoshizaki SR72B-12 food prep table's upper half is ideal for sandwich or salad making thanks to its open housing for 12 sixth-size poly pans. These pans are optimal for containing fillings or toppings and are held up with the included adapters. During breaks in service, line cooks can lower the stainless steel cover to trap in cold air and keep external contaminants out. Its lower half provides ample storage for long shifts and features three stay-open and automatically-shutting doors. These stainless steel doors, located beneath the pans' housing, grant access to its 18-cubic-foot storage cavity designed for backup ingredients, sauces, and produce. They are fitted with extruded aluminum handles, can switch their layout, and create a firm seal with magnetic gaskets once shut. Should this table need to be moved for any reason, four 6-inch casters aid this process and two lock for stationary placement.
