Hoshizaki F-422MAK/B-300SF Description
The Hoshizaki F-422MAK/B-300SF flake ice machine produces 485 pounds of ice, which is great for high-traffic establishments. This unit makes flake ice—ideal for blending smooth yet textured smoothies—that can be implemented in most buffet cold bars to keep the food chilled.
To reduce environmental impact, this ice maker uses non-toxic and non-flammable R404A refrigerant. Because it's self-contained, installation is smooth, and to reduce maintenance and increase sanitation, this unit implements an advanced CleanCycle24™ system to flush built-up minerals and other impurities out of the evaporator.
For storing ice throughout the day, the Hoshizaki F-422MAK/B-300SF flake ice machine includes a 300-pound-capacity bin. Its top-hinged design eases interior access, and because it's lined with polyethylene, it establishes a sanitary boundary to keep impurities outside. Foamed-in polyurethane insulates the interior to slow the rate that the ice melts; it's protected with an H-GUARD antimicrobial agent to reduce bacteria and mold growth.
For durability, the exterior of the ice maker and bin are constructed of stainless steel. Overall, this unit measures 22 inches wide by 32 3⁄10 inches deep by 68 inches high and requires a 6-inch clearance at the rear, sides, and top for installation.
