The Hoshizaki F-1002MWJ/B-1300SS ice machine and bin combo includes a scoop with a capacity of 82 ounces. Ideal for serving chilled food at a buffet, this unit produces 955 pounds of flake ice in a 24-hour period, depending on ambient conditions. This unit's exterior is constructed of resilient stainless steel that can withstand intensive use, and it uses R404A refrigerant to create ice.

Because the Hoshizaki F-1002MWJ/B-1300SS ice maker has a water-cooled refrigeration system, it uses more water than an air-cooled unit, but it's also more efficient. The bin is insulated with foamed-in-place polyurethane to maintain ideal ice temperatures and is protected with a sanitary polyethylene liner. To ensure consistently fresh ice, this unit has an Advanced CleanCycle24™ feature that flushes the evaporator for 2 seconds every hour, removing impurities and sediment.
