Wells G-196 Description
This Wells G-196 G-Series electric built-in griddle can cook as many as 45 eggs per load, or 675 eggs per hour. Featuring a 1⁄2-inch-thick griddle plate for quick pre-heating, solid heat distribution, and good recovery, the griddle is controlled with positive-off thermostats that manage 12-inch sections of the 341/4-inch-wide by 183/10-inch-deep cooking surface. Guard rings protect the control knobs to help prevent accidental adjustment. Enclosed tubular heating elements are attached to the underside of the griddle plate and have a 200-to-450-degrees-Fahrenheit temperature range that heats two separate sections to cook multiple foods on the same surface.
To withstand high-volume use, the Wells G-196 commercial griddle’s top, control panel, and splash guards are made of stainless steel. The side and rear splash guards, which help keep nearby surfaces clean, are removable to meet kitchen needs. Beneath the unit, a removable 4-quart-capacity grease drawer contains leftover runoff for streamlined cleanup. For installation into a metal countertop, the overall dimensions for the unit are 36.50 inches wide by 233/5 inches deep by 73/4 inches high.
