Wells F-556 Description
Because it's intended to drop into a countertop or kitchen island, the Wells F-556 electric fryer comes with WellsLok™ to streamline installation. The thermostatic controls can be adjusted between 275 and 375 degrees Fahrenheit, and for quick operation, this unit preheats to 350 degrees Fahrenheit in just 4 and a half minutes. Its vessel holds 15 pounds of oil, while the two half-size baskets let multiple foods be cooked simultaneously.
The Wells F-556 drop-in electric fryer has a high-limit control that turns on an indicator light if the temperature is too high. If the light comes on, the user must reset the unit to prevent overheating. In case they need to be accessed or serviced, the one-piece heating elements swing up. Providing corrosion resistance, the fry pot, top, flange and control housing are made of stainless steel.
