Manitowoc Ice UYF0240W Description
The Manitowoc UYF-0240W undercounter ice maker can produce 207 pounds of ice in 24 hours, hold 90 pounds, and makes half-dice ice—also called half-cube ice—often used in beverages. Its condenser is cooled by water, meaning water is pumped over the condenser coils to chill the refrigerant so it can remove heat from the evaporator plate. Through this process, ice freezes and then falls off the plate and into the bin. Water-cooled units require a potable water supply because it needs hundreds of gallons of water per hour.
This ice machine has components that are built with an antimicrobial agent to slow bacteria growth and lessen overall cleaning time. Staff members can access ice in the bin through the slide-up door. The Manitowoc UYF-0240W ice machine has a removable air filter that supports cleaning in a dishwasher.
