Ice ranges in shape from 3⁄8 of an inch to 1⁄2 of an inch in width and length with an 85 percent ice-to-water ratio. If air is 70 degrees Fahrenheit and incoming water is 50 degrees Fahrenheit, this unit can produce 330 pounds of ice in 24 hours. For smooth operation, the low-maintenance stainless steel bearings have a high-load capacity.
The Manitowoc Ice UNP0300A ice machine's self-contained condenser streamlines installation, while its air-cooled design is ideal for rooms that have ambient temperatures below 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Ice is released into the unit's storage bin, which is located beneath the unit and has a 50-pound capacity. With its slide-up, accessible door, the bin grants users direct access to stored ice.
