"What I just went through when I received this Taylor Thermometer I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy: A miserable instruction manual. Speaks of a screw on the battery cover that was simply not there. Then after inadvertently finding it, the instructions for changing from F to Centigrade are impossible to understand. The machine arrived scratched on the reading surface. The buttons to press are as illogical and hard to press as anything I have ever seen. But Taylor's customer service was even worse: long holds then disconnects. Then redial and connected by someone to someone else who was the wrong person. Finally reached someone who could do nothing for me and did not really understand the machine. And to return it would be a hassle of monumental proportions. Send a photo with other things to them, etc. etc. A couple of hours time to do, minimum. Never again anything by Taylor. If you want to be aggravated, buy this."
