The Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-5 open-air cooler features a steel structure and all-white body that matches most grocery store decor. Great for displaying drinks and food products, it has a three-level removable step shelf. The ends are removable for establishing a continuous lineup of similar equipment. It’s insulated with thick, CFC-free foam insulation, while the night cover reduces energy loss after hours.
The Howard-McCray SC-OS30E-5 cooler’s hermetic, self-contained refrigeration system is fully enclosed to protect it from dust and debris. It cools with R513A refrigerant via its expansion valve system. The unit’s fans are in the deck area to provide an equal blanket of cold air along the products, while the electric condensate pan works to reduce accumulated moisture over time. Temperatures are easily adjusted via the electronic controller.
