IKON IMG-60 Description
With five separately controlled burners, the IKON IMG-60 countertop gas griddle offers flexible grill plate temperature control. Each burner provides 30,000 BTU of heat and is U shaped to ensure an even plate temperature without cool spots. Made of a 3⁄4-inch-thick polished steel plate, the griddle’s surface is durable enough to withstand frequent temperature changes and releases food for minimized sticking. Around the griddle’s back and sides, its splashes are fully welded so hot grease doesn’t leak. Crumbs and runoff can be scraped into the unit’s 4-inch grease trough, which is front mounted for comfortable access and wide enough to fit a spatula.
Standing on six adjustable stainless steel legs, the unit creates space between the hot cooking area and supporting countertops. Because it’s adjustable, the legs can help users ensure the griddle remains level during use, and each is capped with a nonskid foot for stability. Streamlining use and maintenance, the griddle has front accessible pilot light that is fully serviceable from the front and a removable grease drawer. Increasing ventilation, the unit is designed with a rear flue, while its front edge stays cool during use to reduce burn risks.
