IKON IMG-12 Description
Lifted and secured in place by its stainless steel adjustable legs and nonskid feet, the IKON IMG-12 manual control griddle fits best on a countertop with its 11.7-inch-wide, 21-inch-deep footprint. Its upright design helps prevent heat damage to the surface it sits on and increases reachable surface area beneath the unit for improved cleaning. Heated by a single U-shaped burner, the 12-inch-wide by 20.5-inch-deep cooking surface is manually controlled with a thermostat. Its polished griddle plate is 3⁄4 of an inch thick to heat quickly, retain warmth for back-to-back use, and resist warps. The pilot light can be lit from the front for easy access.
The IKON IMG-12 commercial griddle is constructed of resilient stainless steel. Its wall sides are insulated and its front edge doesn't conduct heat, so it doesn't burn the operator if they accidentally touch it. Back and side splash guards are welded to the sides of the griddle plate for security and to ensure oil doesn't splash over the sides, streamlining grease removal. Users can scrape leftover cooking particles into the 4-inch-wide grease trough and into the removable 31⁄4-inch grease drawer.
