For under-bed installation, the Mesa MUBG652E gun safe measures 42 inches wide by 14 63⁄100 inches deep by 6 inches high. Four pre-drilled anchor holes are located on the bottom, and two pre-drilled anchor holes are integrated on the back; for simplified installation, it includes an anchor kit. To endure burglary attacks, it's made of rugged steel, and features a fire-resistant lining to protect valuables from fire. Its lock and handles are further safeguarded with a 1⁄8-inch-thick layer of steel. To deter prying, it's built with a five-point locking bar. For a neutral, unobtrusive appearance, this safe sports a textured black design.
To access the Mesa MUBG652E under-bed gun safe's interior, users must enter the correct code into the electronic lock. A light above the keypad illuminates the lock to enable use in the dark. This lock holds up to two codes, which can be changed as needed. If the lock's battery dies, users can access the interior with one of the two override keys. This safe's interior measures 43 1⁄4 inches wide by 13 inches deep by 3 13⁄100 inches high and features a pull-out drawer for quick access. The carpet lining protects valuables from scratches and marks and can be removed for thorough cleaning.
