Mesa MGL36C Description
The Mesa MGL36C MGL Lite gun safe measures 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 59 inches high overall and features a 34 1⁄2-inch-wide by 18 3⁄4-inch-deep by 56-inch-high interior with a 15.4-cubic-foot area that accommodates 36 rifles. Its fully upholstered interior is built with two half-length shelves and one full-length shelf to hold other valuable items. As inventory changes, the shelves can be raised or lowered. For added convenience, an outlet inside the safe includes three sockets and two USB ports so electronics can charge in storage.
The Mesa MGL36C weapon safe is locked with 3⁄4-inch-diameter steel locking bolts to ensure its door is tightly closed. Its combination lock is safeguarded with a punch-activated locking system and drill-resistant hard plate while its lock and handle are protected with an additional 1⁄8-inch-thick layer of steel. Designed to withstand a 30-minute exposure to temperatures as high as 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit and endure a two-story drop, this safe is made of steel and lined with fire-resistant material. To reduce the risk of the entire safe being stolen, it weighs 572 pounds and can be mounted to the floor.
