Town 56824 Description
Capable of cooking, warming, and steaming rice, the Town 56824 rice cooker prepares rice automatically and keeps it hot for serving. This unit's insulated double wall contains heating elements that evenly warm rice, and heat loss is reduced by the heated cover. It cooks different kinds of rice, such as rice pilaf, steamed rice, Mexican rice, and more. Extending its life, this cooker has a durable, reinforced body with a thick heater plate and a water-resistant controller. The cooker has a stainless steel exterior that facilitates cleaning and resists corrosion.
Heating element damage and failure in the Town 56824 rice cooker is prevented by the high-limit control. The unit turns on in hold mode, with both the power and hold indicator lights illuminated. Its cook button starts the cycle for cooking, and at that point, the hold light will go out, and the cook light will illuminate. After the rice finishes cooking, the unit automatically moves to hold mode, where the cook light goes out, and the hold light illuminates once again. It will remain in hold mode until another cook cycle starts, or the unit is turned off with the power button.
