Wolf WEG60E Description
This Wolf WEG60E heavy-duty griddle's 3⁄4-inch-thick steel griddle plate doesn't warp from repeat heating because it's thicker than other models in the WEG-E Series. Every 12-inch-wide griddle section of the 60-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep griddle plate is heated by two incoloy heating elements, which is controlled by a snap-action thermostatic control. Together, these elements create five separate cooking zones for individualized cooking. Its temperature range of 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit accommodates simple reheating or intense grilling as desired. A cycling light correlates with each cooking zone to indicate the surface is hot; chromed knob guards prevent accidental temperature adjustment.
With its 60-inch-wide, 311/2-inch-deep, and 153/10-inch-high frame, the Wolf WEG60E electric griddle is supported by 4-inch legs, making it a good choice for countertops as it doesn't interfere with overhead storage. The legs raise and lower, and their lifted design prevents high heat transfer from the bottom of the griddle to the counter's surface. Made of stainless steel, it's a durable tool designed to thrive in bustling kitchen environments. Its 4-inch stainless steel side and rear splashes surround oil and leftover cooking particles for proper drainage down the 31⁄2-inch-wide front grease trough and into two 11/2-gallon grease drawers.
