Walco WL0415 Description
Though the Walco WL0415 cocktail fork is oversized, it measures 6 1⁄8 inches long—shorter than the brand's standard dinner and salad forks. This length improves control when extracting meat from shellfish, and its three tines can pierce and lift meat. Its 18/0 magnetic stainless steel construction is more economical than 18/8 and 18/10 flatware because it doesn't contain nickel. Its magnetic properties are ideal for restaurants using magnetic flatware retrievers, which prevent silverware from falling into the trashcan when contents are scraped from plates. However, this alloy isn't as rust or bend resistant as higher-grade options.
