Made of durable cast iron, the Lodge L8IC3 self-basting cover keeps heat around the food, and while the lid is on, it keeps food moist. Ready for use right away, the cast iron is seasoned with oil. Measuring 101⁄4 inches in diameter, the lid fits on various Lodge skillets, Dutch ovens, combo cookers, grill pans, and chicken fryers.

The most versatile covers in the kitchen
"These are a sturdy, cast iron lids. I use them with a skillet, a deep skillet, and square grill pans. They work equally well on the stove top and in the oven. Although they do not cover the corners of the square grill pan, they stop most of the grease spatter while allowing steam to escape. They save me a large amount of clean up time. Also, they hold in the heat well. I love things that make my life better - these qualify."
