Lodge L10DCO3 Description
Equipped with a flanged lid that holds coals or briquettes and flips to function as a griddle, the Lodge® L10DCO3 Dutch oven is designed for flexible cooking in outdoor environments. Its integrated wire bail handle enables use with a tripod, while three cast-in legs elevate the base for direct fire use. Built for camping gear setups, it’s safe for use on stovetops, grills, ovens, and campfires. Constructed of cast iron and seasoned with oil, this unit provides lasting durability and consistent heat retention. Finished in black, it delivers a classic, rugged appearance suited to open-flame cooking. The oven has a 5-quart capacity and measures 11 1⁄2 inches in diameter and 7 3⁄4 inches in exterior height.

If it's not a macho thing ........
If you feel no need to be saying things like, "My Dutch oven is so much bigger than yours that it takes four strong men and a boy just to get it off my pick-up truck."....or..... "I once fed 3,742 starving boy scouts at a jamboree in Upper Armpit, Idaho ".... You may not need a huge capacity DO. This is the first outdoor oven size I bought and it is usually this size or my six quart that gets used the most. I still love my five quart and find that most of the time, it's all I need.
