The Kelvinator Commercial KCHCB48R refrigerated chef base is made of galvanized and stainless steel to prevent dents and rusting throughout high-volume tasks. Supporting up to 1,089 pounds, its marine-edged worktop blocks drips from entering the 6.75-cubic-foot cabinet, while casters ease repositioning and routine cleaning. Its compact 50-inch-wide by 31 7⁄8-inch-deep by 26 1⁄16-inch-high frame houses two polyurethane-filled drawers and a self-contained, side-mounted system that evenly disperses R290-cooled air. Automatic defrosting slows ice collection on cooling components, while digital controls provide up-to-date readouts for proper 32 to 41-degree-Fahrenheit functionality.
