Designed to withstand outdoor placement, the Amerikooler QF080877**FBSM-O outdoor walk-in freezer includes modular floor, wall, and ceiling panels made of 4-inch-thick AK-XPS4 rigid foam insulation for an R-32 thermal resistance value. This 7-foot-10¹⁄₈-inch-wide by 7-foot-10-inch-deep by 7-foot-7-inch-tall unit is designed for quick shipping, meaning it's constructed to predetermined dimensions and requires assembly upon delivery. Operators can connect the panels with the cam-action locking system, while the compression gaskets create a solid, airtight seal. When assembled, its floor can support an evenly distributed load of 600 pounds per square foot—enough to accommodate regular foot traffic. For a classic appearance that doesn't sacrifice durability, the wall and ceiling panels are laminated with stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant Acrylume® coating.

The walk-in's interior components consist of an LED light, a digital thermometer, an on/off pilot light switch, a heated pressure relief vent, and an inside safety release mechanism. Its PVC-extruded 76-inch-tall door smoothly opens and self-closes to simplify loading and retrieving inventory. To prevent frost from accumulating along the door's seal, it's built with a temperature-controlled heater wire, and after business hours, the deadbolt keyed handle can be locked to deter theft and tampering.

Because the Amerikooler QF080877**FBSM-O walk-in freezer comes with the Heatcraft Bohn PT0062LBTEMSA PRO³ self-contained refrigeration unit, it can produce and maintain a box temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit. It operates with R-448A refrigerant and is rated to withstand ambient temperatures as hot as 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Its microchannel coil technology can minimize the required refrigerant charge while reducing energy consumption. To save space inside the unit, this 58-inch-wide by 52¹⁄₂-inch-deep by 40³⁄₄-inch-tall unit can be installed on top of the box.
